6 Heart-warming Scenes from Ep 9 & 10 of Twenty-Five Twenty-One

Annyeong everyone, meet with me again, Rinan 😊 We will have a review session on an awesome and inspiring drama from episodes 9 & 10 of Twenty-Five Twenty-One. Let’s check it out!

The ninth and tenth episodes of Twenty-Five Twenty-One follow the path and involve many heart-warming scenes of friendship, family and romance portrayed by all characters of the drama. These two episodes are aired on Netflix and TvN on 12 and 13 February 2022. These two episodes become one of the most awaited episodes of Korean dramas every weekend. Episodes ninth and tenth involve many heart-warming scenes as they are following the story of Na Hee Do and Ko Yu Rim friendship depicted when they are finally being friends after having a long emotional fight. Talking about friendship, in the ninth episode we cannot forget about the heart-warming friendship between Ji Seung Wan and Moon Ji Woong. Heart-warming scenes are also depicted from family and romance issues.  To make it clear, here are the six heart-warming scenes from episodes 9 and 10 of Twenty-Five Twenty-One.

1.      Ko Yu Rim’s mother hugs Na Hee Do

The first heart-warming scene comes from the very beginning of the ninth episode when coach Yang and Taeyang high school fencing team are coming to Ko Yu Rim’s tteokbokki restaurant to have a meal. At first, Na Hee Do worries about how Yu Rim’s mother will react when meet her after knowing the fact that Hee Do gets the gold medal in the Asian Games, which means she also success in making Yu Rim fail.

When she reaches the restaurant, she chose to come late and stand behind her friends to avoid Yu Rim’s mother to talk to her. The moment really coming and the situation getting emotional when suddenly Yu Rim’s mother pulls her into a tender hug. Hee Do and Yu Rim are really shock as they never imagine that Yu Rim’s mother does not angry even though Hee Do is her daughter’s rival in the fencing finals for the Asian Games. While she hugging Hee Do, she sincerely congratulates her and she gives her motivation to stay strong even though all Korean citizens express outrage and against her by accusing her of stealing Yu Rim’s medal and even speculating she may have bribed the referee. Hee Do finally burst into tears. The moment makes her feel warmth she had never received from her own mother. This scene is really mean to Hee Do and she will remember all the insight from Yu Rim’s mother. She tells Yu Rim that the moment helps heal the remainder of her hurt.

2.      Hee Do’s mother brings back her daughter’s gold medal from the Asian Games

The relationship between Hee Do and her mother is not getting along like a mother and a daughter in general. Hee Do feels she is really facing a situation in which step by step she gets far from her own mother after her father dead. She is so angry with her mother as her mother never shows her affection and support directly to Hee Do. However, that night is different. Through the window, her mother returns Na Hee Do’s gold medal and says that as a mother she doesn’t think that Hee Do was stealing Ko Yu Rim’s gold medal. Indirectly, she believes that her daughter never did that. She believes in her daughter’s ability and she shows that she still loves Hee Do even though she never shows it directly to her.

3.      Hee Do and Yu Rim become friends

The next heart-warming scene is portrayed when Yu Rim reveals herself to Hee Do as the anonymous chat friend and apologizes for her behaviour up to this point. Finally, after being enemies for a long time, Na Hee Do and Yu Rim make up. The girls hug it out and break down in tears. This scene is the beginning of their friendship. The two girls are also becoming conscious of each other.

4.      Baek Yi Jin confessions to Hee Do

This scene might be a little bit cringe for some people, but this scene is also extremely romantic. This scene depicts when Hee Do and Yi Jin are gazing up at a rainbow. Yi Jins says that he doesn’t need a rainbow to express his feelings because he already had Hee Do, who is actually the meaning of love itself. This moment is the first confession of Baek Yi Jin that makes Hee Do shock as she never expected Baek Yi Jin to have the same feeling for her. This scene is increasingly romantic because Yi Jin says, “I love you, Hee Do. I don’t need rainbows.”

5.      A friendship between Seung Wan and Ji Woong

In these episodes, we will follow the story of Seung Wan and Ji Woong, which are really refreshing, cute and comfortable dynamic because Seung Wan always receives constant praise from adults, but Ji Woong receives constant criticism. Seung Wan shows that she is indirectly a sweat girl. She saves Ji Woong from being beaten by a teacher and angrily rants about injustice about that. She finds her life is very boring, but because hanging out with Ji Woong she feels that she finds interesting things happen.

6.      Taeyang Squad openly share their life stories

Thanks to the documentary produced by the UBS television station where Baek Yi Jin works, Na Hee Do, Ko Yu Rim, Baek Yi Jin, Moon Ji Woong, and Ji Seung Wan are able to travel to the beach. Not only do they play on the seashore, they also eat and spend the moment together. They told each other their life stories.

It starts with Ko Yu Rim, who shares her family ‘s financial crisis and lack of money, but her mother and her father pretend to look like everything is good and there is a significant problem. At this moment, for the first time Na Hee Do talks about her father to someone else that her father passed away when she was on elementary school. Ji Woong also shares his story that his father and his mother have been divorced since he was a child and tells how hard his mother lives with him. Seung Wan adds her story and tells Yi Jin that she finds her life is so boring, but Ji Woong always brings another happiness for her. This scene is extremely heart-warming when Yi Jin finds that all of them have their own problems, but each of them pretends to look like everything is okay.

So, yeorobun, those are the six from episodes 9 and 10 Twenty-Five Twenty-One. I hope you can be inspired by those six scenes and I hope you will get something after reading this article. To conclude, I wanna ask you all, which moments do you like the most? Lemme know ya!
