Get to know “Business Proposal” Drama

Annyeong everyone, meet with me again, Rinan 😊 We will have a new review session on an awesome rom-com Korean drama entitled Business Proposal. However, before doing a review, we will get to know all about this drama first. I am really excited to share this with all of you! Let’s check it out!

The Korean drama industry is recently increasing their massive production for making dramas based on popular stories on web novels or webtoons. One of them is A Business Proposal drama. The drama entitled The Office Blind Date or well-known as A Business Proposal is based on the webtoon with the same title by HaeHwa. This drama is produced by Kakao Entertainment Corp and is aired on Netflix and SBS TV every Monday and Tuesday at 8 p.m. This drama is directed by the famous film director in South Korea named Park Seon Ho and the script is written by Han Sul Hee and Hong Bo Hee. The genre of the drama is a romance comedy which has 12 episodes based on Netflix’s official announcement. The drama is scheduled to be released on SBS TV on February 28, 2022. The drama follows the funny romance story of Shin Ha Ri (Kim Sejeong) and Kang Tae Moo (Ahn Hyo Seop). Shin Ha Ri is forced by her friend Jin Yeong Seo (Seol In Ah) to replace her and to go on blind date with Kang Tae Moo. Ha Ri replaces and pretends to be Jin Yeong Seo with a purpose to make the date end with Kang Tae Moo rejecting her. However, her plan becomes chaotic when she knows out that Kang Tae Moo is the CEO company where Ha Ri works.

Here are the casts of the drama:

1.      Kim Se Jeong as Shin Ha Ri

Shin Ha Ri is a jaunty girl. She works at GoFood company as a researcher of food. Ha Ri is the daughter of Shin Joong Hae (Kim Kwang Kyu) and Han Mi Mo (Jung Young Joo). Her parents have a fried chicken’s restaurant named Goobne. She has a younger brother, Shin Ha Min (Choi Byung Chan). She also has best friends from a rich family (chaebol family) Jin Young Seo (Seo In Ah) and Lee Min Woo (Son Won Seok) who works as a professional chef and runs a restaurant. Ha Ri secretly falls in love with Min Woo for seven years, but Min Woo doesn’t know about it and chose to date someone else.

2.      Ahn Hyo Seop as Kang Tae Moo

Kang Tae Moo is CEO at GoFood company. He is the one and only grandson of Kang Da Goo (Lee Deok Hwa), so that is why his grandfather gives GoFood company to him. Kang Tae Moo is a handsome, genius, cool person. He studies in the United States and moves to South Korea to run a GoFood company. As a chaebol or person comes from a rich family, Tae Moo almost gets whatever he wants except affections from his parents. His parents had an accident and died in front of his eyes when he was five years old. Kang Tae Moo has a traumatic rain after those terrible accidents.

3.      Kim Min Gyu as Cha Sung Hoon

Cha Sung Hoon works as Kim Tae Moo’s secretary in this drama. He was adopted by Tae Moo’s grandfather from an orphanage when he was the same age as Tae Moo. He follows Tae Moo wherever and whenever Tae Moo goes. He is more than a secretary for Tae Moo. He is like a brother to him. He is a friendly and generous person but knows the line when it comes to dealing with other people.

4.      Seo In Ah as Jin Yeong Seo

Jin Yeong Seo is the only daughter of a rich or chaebol family called Marine Group. She is a best friend of Shin Ha Ri. She works for a fashion company. She is a beautiful but stubborn girl. She is forced to get married to a man from a rich family and her father arranges many blind dates, but Ji Young Seo does not come. She falls in love with Cha Sung Hoon but her father is against them.
